1. What is the difference between PET and PS/PVC seedling trays?
   • The main difference lies in durability and eco-friendliness. Unlike PS (Polystyrene) which is brittle and cracks easily, or PVC which has environmental restrictions, PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) offers superior flexibility and high tensile strength. This means our PET trays can be bent or squeezed without breaking, significantly reducing shipping damage. Additionally, PET is 100% recyclable and widely accepted by recycling facilities globally.
2.  Are your plastic seedling trays reusable or single-use?
   • It depends on the thickness you choose. While our standard 0.5mm trays are cost-effective for single-season use, our heavy-duty PET trays (0.8mm – 1.2mm) are designed for multiple seasons. They withstand high-pressure washing and UV exposure. For commercial nurseries using automation, we recommend the ≥1.0mm thickness for maximum longevity.
3. How many seedling trays can fit in a shipping container?
   • Thanks to our high-nesting design, our PET trays stack tighter than foam or injection-molded trays. A standard 40HQ container can hold approximately 800 to 1,000 cartons (depending on cell count and thickness). 4. Can I customize the cell size or add my logo?
   • Yes, as a direct seedling tray factory, we offer full OEM/ODM services. We can emboss your brand logo on the tray edge or bottom. We also design custom molds for specific cell depths or shapes (square, round, octagonal) to suit unique crops like hemp, forestry seedlings, or vegetables.
